| Susan Finston is President of Finston Consulting LLC which provides a range of services relating to intellectual property (IP) and biotechnology, including business development, strategic marketing, technology transfer, policy analysis and advocacy, ally development, education and awareness programs for start-ups, multinational companies, and governments. Susan also serves as Executive Director of the American BioIndustry Alliance (ABIA), an advocacy organization that seeks enabling conditions for biotechnology through sustainable, mutually beneficial Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) policies. Additionally, she is a founding Board Member of BayhDole25, a NGO that conducts studies, provides educational materials and outreach on technology transfer. Her previous work experience includes the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
