President Cyril Ramaphosa
For Cyril Ramaphosa, repeatedly invoking the National Democratic Revolution (NDR), during a speech at the ANC political conference, in relation to economic, social and public policies, is to reflect ignorance and confusion immense and pitiful, written Ebrahim Harvey.
I watched President Cyril Ramaphosa address the crisis-ridden African National Congress policy conference on television in disbelief. Except for the mention of the possibility of the introduction of a Basic Income Grant (BIG), Ramaphosa’s speech was a litany of rhetoric, confusion, mediocrity, evasion and yet another occasion. lost on the misguided and inappropriate policies that the ANC government has pursued since the beginning of its rule in 1994.
